Grace Geyer, a junior, and senior teammate Sarah Colebrooke placed fourth and fifth for Oaks Christian in the girls varsity 3-mile race at the Marmonte League opener at Peppertree Park, helping the Lions finish second overall behind Newbury Park by a 27-33 margin. Geyer clocked 17:55.27 and Colebrooke ran 18:29.45 for Oaks Christian, which had five scorers in the top 15.
